Fun with Power Tools - Continued

While we completed a bench at the last fun night, we still have the supplies to finish two others. So we will continue with our project on this fun night --- it really was a blast turning nothing into something.

Ostara

Ostara, or the spring equinox, is a time of new growth. It is also a reminder for balance and a celebration of the Goddess and of spring.

In case of rain, it will be moved indoors. The scheduled business meeting for Mar. 21st will be rescheduled.

"Milagros"

Milagros in this case isn't referring to the restaurant near the church, it refers to miracles. These items, common in the southwest US, Central and South America, are originally from the Catholic tradition and have grown beyond that. Find out what it's all about, and learn how to create one of your own.

Donations to cover supplies welcome, please bring snacks to share.

For Alabama, this is a celebration of the very end of the spring and the beginning of summer (the mental focus, of course, depends on that days weather.)

Billiards and Foosball

UA's Ferguson Center has a smoke-free facility accessible by all ages where we can rent pool tables for a flat rate for the entire evening. (smoking allowed just outside the exit door.)

It's $3.00 per pool table, so please bring some money to split the fee for as many tables as we need among everyone, Outside snacks are allowed. :)
