Adult programsoffer opportunities outside of the Sunday service for spiritual enrichment, service to the community, and fellowship. Groups that are currently active, or have been active in the recent past include the following.

The Adult Spiritual
Exploration schedule
Adult Spiritual Exploration
classes are presentations and/or discussions of various topics with religious themes. ASE meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm at the church, and the public is welcome.

Social Action
activities put liberal faith into action. UUCT volunteers deliver a regular Meals On Wheels route (every Tuesday, beginning at 11:00am, takes less than an hour). Contact Patty Lightfoot for more information. Other activities during the year include Habitat for Humanity, adoption of Turning Point families at Christmas, and other activities. Contact Ana Schuber, Social Action Chair, for more information or to suggest worthy activities.

Special celebrations
Moundville Campout. An intergenerational celebration at Moundville Archeological Park - dinner, trick or treating, marshmallows roasted over the campfire, and camping. Typically the Saturday before Halloween.
Christmas and New Years parties. At a member's home or at the church.
The Ethnic Dinner. A potluck dinner - bring a dish that celebrates your ethnic heritage, or just your favorite ethnic food. Typically in the winter.
Chili/Chowder cookoff. A friendly competition among the best chilis, chowders, bisques, stews and other semi-liquid spoon-eaten foods. Typically in the fall.
Fourth of July celebration. An intergenerational dinner at the home of a member.
Pool Party. An intergenerational celebration at the pool of a member.

Covenant groups
gather to discuss issues of mutual interest and support. The
Men's Group
meets for support and discussion on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month (contact: Jim Colby). The
East Meets West Covenant group
meets to meditate and discuss Asian religious practices and philosophies on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays (contact: Ed Stephenson).

TCUUPS
(Tuscaloosa Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) offers activities and worship opportunities for local pagans and other friendly people in a non-discriminatory manner. For for information and a schedule of upcoming events, visit the TCUUPS page.

The Blue Domers
gather informally after some Sunday services to trek through the wonders of west Alabama's wilderness. The "blue dome" is Nature's canopy, under which we both fellowship and pause. Blue Domers outings are not aimed at physical conquest or exertion but rather achieving a peaceful communion with the larger environment.
